Location: Port of Orillia, 50 Lightfoot Drive, Orillia
When: Friday, August 7th from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Saturday, August 8th from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; and Sunday, August 9th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Spend a summer weekend by the water at the Orillia Waterfront Festival, a welcoming community event filled with live entertainment, local shopping and family-friendly fun. Sidelaunch Days 2026
Location: Collingwood Waterfront and Shipyards Amphitheatre, Collingwood
When: Friday, August 7th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.; Saturday, August 8th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.; and Sunday, August 9th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Celebrate Collingwood’s maritime heritage at Sidelaunch Days, a lively waterfront weekend filled with activities for all ages. Explore tall ship tours, paddleboarding, dragon boating, science displays, local history, family play zones and live Canadian music. Visitors can also enjoy waterfront food, colourful kite displays and exciting water demonstrations throughout the harbour. Sutton Fair and Horse Show
Location: Sutton Fairgrounds, 3 Fairpark Lane, Sutton
When: Thursday, August 6th from 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.; Friday, August 7th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.; Saturday, August 8th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.; and Sunday, August 9th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Celebrate a favourite local tradition at the Sutton Fair and Horse Show, where agricultural heritage meets classic summer fun. Families and friends can enjoy midway rides, live entertainment, livestock and horse shows, homecraft exhibits, local food, tractor pulls and demolition events. The Gathering of the Classics
Location: Edenvale Aerodrome, 5195 Highway 26 East, Hangar C, Stayner
When: Saturday, August 8th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a rain date of Sunday, August 9th
Bring the family to the Gathering of the Classics, Canada’s largest Wings and Wheels event. Since 1989, this community favourite has welcomed classic aircraft and car enthusiasts from across Southern Ontario for a full day of discovery. Explore hundreds of vintage vehicles, see the full-size Avro Arrow replica, visit the Arrow museum and enjoy vendors, food trucks and children’s mini-plane races.
