Wasaga BeachLife Festival & Midway
Location: Wasaga Beach beachfront, Beach Areas 1 and 2, Wasaga Beach
When: Thursday, July 23 to Sunday, July 26 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., depending on the day
Celebrate summer by the water at the new Wasaga BeachLife Festival, featuring midway rides, live music, games and welcoming activities for a wide range of ages. The four-day lineup includes beach yoga, sand sculpture building, kites, fitness challenges, kayaking and stand-up paddleboard demonstrations. Visitors can also enjoy performances by Jukebox Heroes, The Carpet Frogs, Gold Dust Woman and Just Heart while taking in the relaxed atmosphere of Wasaga Beach’s lively waterfront. More info here.

Elvis Weekend Showcase
Location: Royal Canadian Legion Branch 63, Collingwood
When: Friday, July 24 to Sunday, July 26 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 a.m., depending on the day
Celebrate the music and legacy of Elvis Presley during a lively three-day showcase in Collingwood. Five acclaimed tribute artists will perform songs from across Elvis’s career through 11 separately scheduled events, offering fans plenty of ways to join the celebration. Presented by ICON Productions and endorsed by Elvis Presley Enterprises, the all-ages weekend is designed as a tribute rather than a competition. Each performance is limited to 250 guests, so advance tickets are recommended. More info here.

Blueberry Pancake Festival
Location: Barrie Hill Farms, 2935 Barrie Hill Road, Barrie
When: Saturday, July 25 and Sunday, July 26 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Gather family and friends for a summer weekend at Barrie Hill Farms in support of Hospice Simcoe. Enjoy blueberry pancakes made with farm-fresh berries, breakfast sausages, maple syrup and a beverage, with proceeds helping an important local cause. The festival also features pick-your-own blueberries, wagon rides to the fields, live music and more farm activities. Orillia Fairgrounds Farmers’ Market
Location: ODAS Park, 4500 Fairgrounds Road, Severn
When: Saturday, July 25 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Spend a Saturday morning discovering local flavours and handmade finds at the Orillia Fairgrounds Farmers’ Market. More than 60 seasonal vendors bring together fresh produce, meats, baked goods, prepared foods and artisan products in a relaxed outdoor setting. It is a welcoming place to meet local growers and makers, pick up something for the week ahead and enjoy a community-focused outing with family or friends.
