Weekend Guide for June 12th to 14th

This weekend’s Simcoe Summer Circuit brings together waterfront fun, family activities, live entertainment, community celebrations, and plenty of reasons to visit Barrie, Orillia, Cookstown, and Collingwood. Whether you are planning a full day out or just looking for something new to enjoy nearby, these events are a great way to make the most of the weekend.

Orillia In-Water Boat Show

Location: Port of Orillia, 50 Lightfoot Drive, Orillia
When: Friday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM

The Orillia In-Water Boat Show brings the community together at the Port of Orillia for a lively weekend on the waterfront. Visitors can explore in-water boat displays, discover marine technology, browse local vendors, and enjoy food, drinks, and live entertainment. 2026 Barrie Airshow Presented by Pratt Homes

Location: Along the shores of Kempenfelt Bay, Barrie
When: Saturday from 12:00 PM to 10:15 PM and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Celebrate the 2026 Barrie Airshow with a free weekend of aviation, family activities, food vendors, military displays, and waterfront fun along Kempenfelt Bay. The show features the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, CF-18 demonstrations, SkyHawks parachute team, and more, with a special Saturday twilight display and fireworks finale. Touch-A-Truck Event

When: Saturday from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM

The Touch-A-Truck Event at Tanger Outlets Cookstown invites families to climb aboard, honk horns, and explore a lineup of impressive vehicles in the Entrance 6 parking lot. From construction trucks to emergency vehicles, it is a hands-on afternoon filled with discovery, photo opportunities, and free community fun. Ontario Comedy Festival featuring Gerry Dee

The Orillia Pride March invites residents and visitors to gather in support of inclusion, visibility, and community connection. Starting with remarks at the Orillia Public Library Courtyard, the march follows a 1.5 km route through downtown to the Biindigen Pavilion in Terry Fox Circle.
