I wanted to let you know that I just saw the photos of my house on line. It really looks pretty fantastic. Alicia was awesome to work with. It’s hard as a homeowner with every nook and cranny filled with stuff that you’ve collected over the years to really be objective on what to get rid of for staging. I have to say that the process with Alicia was terrific. She was personable, professional, and very respectful. I really am grateful for her guidance. And Matt’s photos are terrific. We have a large family home that once encompassed five individuals. We quickly realized that our home was too large for us with our one daughter now working and out on her own and our son away full time at university. It was a very full house that had now become sparse with people and obvious that it time to list our home for sale and downsize.

It was quite daunting as we had a very full home, full of memories, photos, childhood treasures and items that had been collected over the years.

We had done our best at decluttering but had a hard time parting with certain photos and memories. We had freshly painted the interior and I really didn’t think there was much staging left to do….until we met the awesome Alicia.

Alicia was kind and gracious when she came in and as we did the walk-through of our home she explained the reason for removing photos of the family, childhood memories, etc., that it was more about creating the stage of a home where someone else could see themselves in and visualize their own memories in the home.

We de-personalized even more and with Alicia’s explanations and expertise it really made sense. Since our home has been listed we have really gotten used to living with less than we thought we needed. It’s amazing how much you can accumulate and how much you really don’t need. We have things in boxes in a storage unit that I have not missed, nor has anyone else asked for anything inside those boxes. It will certainly make are downsizing much easier as we know now we don’t need as much as we thought we did.

Alicia was very kind and uplifting throughout the whole experience. I texted her a few times with different ideas and different pictures and she was fabulous. She always had time for us, gave us fabulous suggestions and was very genuine about all of her comments.

I recently sold my house using the Peggy Hill team and June Belanger specifically. I am new to the area and met with two different real estate teams in trying to make my decision on who to proceed with. June was great and was able to answer all of our questions and always seemed so happy. We were contemplating buying first and selling after and she was able to provide great recommendations while keeping our priorities first that actually allowed us to sell first and buy after. She was also able to get us $15,000 more than the other team had suggested. The process started with Alicia (the stager) coming out to our house and providing some great staging suggestions that were fairly inexpensive and I think made the house show a lot better!
