Born and raised in Barrie, Vanessa has an intimate knowledge of the community and its vibrant neighborhoods. After spending a year in Australia and earning her Master’s degree following Teacher’s College, she returned home with a renewed passion for making a difference—and real estate quickly became the perfect way to do that.
About Vanessa
Before transitioning into real estate, Vanessa owned and operated a successful construction company for several years, gaining invaluable insight into the building and renovation process.
This experience gives her a unique perspective when helping clients find the perfect property or envision its potential. As a devoted mother to three incredible boys—twins Matt and Cam, 23, and Kyler, 19, Vanessa understands the importance of finding a home that suits a family’s lifestyle and needs.
Whether working with first-time buyers, luxury home seekers, or investors, she provides expert guidance and personalized service every step of the way.

Outside of Real Estate
Vanessa is deeply involved in the Barrie community, volunteering with Barrie Minor Lacrosse. She plays a key role in organizing the Anthony Acchione Memorial Tournament, an event honoring her late husband that brings over 1,000 kids from across Ontario together for a weekend of lacrosse.
