About Laura-Lea

Before transitioning into real estate, Laura-Lea spent over 12 years running the client services side of EnerOne Home Inspections, working closely with both REALTORS® and clients during pivotal moments in the buying and selling process. That experience, paired with nearly 30 years in hospitality, shaped her ability to manage complex, time-sensitive situations with precision, empathy, and calm confidence.

With a professional background rooted in large-scale events and weddings, Laura-Lea thrives when many moving parts need to come together, and timelines matter. Known for her discipline, analytical mindset, and exceptional organization, she brings clarity, reassurance, and steady follow-through every step of the way.

Laura-Lea’s connection to the Peggy Hill Team feels like a natural evolution. She and her husband, Derrick, previously operated a home inspection company and worked closely with the team for several years, building strong relationships and mutual trust along the way.

When Derrick officially joined the team in 2021, it reinforced what Laura-Lea already felt: that this was a group grounded in collaboration, integrity, and genuine care. Together, Laura-Lea and Derrick offer clients the advantage of a husband-and-wife real estate duo, with two REALTORS® moving in sync to ensure clear communication, meticulous attention to detail and thoughtful guidance at every turn. 

Guided by her personal motto, “Be human first,” Laura-Lea believes real estate is about more than transactions. She understands the mental load that can come with big decisions and is committed to helping clients feel seen, supported, and confident, while keeping a sense of humour intact.

Outside of Real Estate

Family is at the centre of everything for Laura-Lea. She’s usually spending time with loved ones, fitting in a ball game or a round of Catan, and soaking up the Simcoe County lifestyle, where every season brings something to do, from water access and ski hills to trails and outdoor recreation, all within easy reach of both the city and Muskoka.
