Crane Lake is only a 10 minute drive from the Hamlet of Dorset where you will find shopping, parks, hiking trails, beaches on Lake of Bays, and so much more. The Dorset Tower is alway a must go see when guests arrive. You don’t have to wait until the fall to experience the view at the Dorset Scenic Lookout Tower. The observation deck offers a 360 degree view, 142 metres (456 feet) above Lake of Bays. For those that enjoy the view closer to the ground Peek-a-boo Rock keeps your feet on the ground with a great view across Dorset. At the top of tower hill there is an information/gift kiosk, picnic tables and toilet facilities. Dorset also have several restuarants when you don't feel like cooking and some are on the waterfront with outdoor patios.
