Born and raised in Barrie, Vanessa has an intimate knowledge of the community and its vibrant neighborhoods. After spending a year in Australia and earning her Master’s degree following Teacher’s College, she returned home with a renewed passion for making a difference—and real estate quickly became the perfect way to do that.
Before transitioning into real estate, Vanessa owned and operated a successful construction company for several years, gaining invaluable insight into the building and renovation process. This experience gives her a unique perspective when helping clients find the perfect property or envision its potential.
As a devoted mother to three incredible boys—twins Matt and Cam, 23, and Kyler, 19, Vanessa understands the importance of finding a home that suits a family’s lifestyle and needs. Vanessa is also deeply involved in the Barrie community, volunteering with Barrie Minor Lacrosse. She plays a key role in organizing the Anthony Acchione Memorial Tournament, an event honoring her late husband that brings over 1,000 kids from across Ontario together for a weekend of lacrosse.
