About Tanya
Tanya Welsh is a Sales representative with The Peggy Hill Team. She is trustworthy and reliable, an absolute team player. Tanya believes in “keeping it real” and truly lives by that motto. Tanya has known Peggy for over 20 years and she knew without a doubt in her mind that after being licensed, there was nothing more she wanted than to be a part of something so great.
Tanya has a diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management, as well as extensive training in sales and negotiations from her past career as a VP in healthcare for 20 years. She’s worked with many client contracts, financing, accounting, legal and human resources. Tanya has achieved many awards for team building and leadership, something that The Peggy Hill Team has always taken pride in. There is no question that Tanya is a very valuable asset to the team.

A friend of mine has been speaking extremely highly about you and your agents. In fact, I clearly remember her saying that she would never sell or buy a house with anyone but you. She is a very particular and discerning person with high standards and a strong personality.  I always remembered how highly she spoke of you so when my parents decided to sell their house in Barrie – 40 Pearcey Cres I immediately suggested your agency to them. They are stubborn Polish couple ,who have their own ideas and of course decided to go with a Polish real estate agent. Well to make a long story short that did not go well and since they were not forced to sell quickly, they ended up taking their home off the market. Their new home in Cobble Beach in Kemble was being build and was to be finished in June of this year, so this spring they knew they had to sell and sell at the best possible price. Unfortunately, the market was not the greatest and they were quite stressed about the situation. I again suggested your agency and connected them with Tanya. At first, they were very uneasy about dealing with a new agent who did not speak Polish but were willing to give it a try. I participated in most meetings to translate as although my parents speak some English they often need translation in areas that they are not familiar with.
I wasn’t sure how this process would go,  knowing that my parents were in their early 70’s and my dad was dealing with multiple health issues and ended up twice in a hospital leaving my mom to deal with most things on her own. I can say I was truly worried about their situation ……and then came Tanya…
From the first meeting, Tanya took her time to talk and to listen to my parents. She was patient and understanding. She provided advice but never pressured them to make a particular decision. She was simpatetic to their situation and offered solutions and strategies when initially their house wasn’t getting the showings they were hoping to have. Her final strategy was aggressive and my parents decided to go with it and immediately saw a change in showings and interest from buyers and their agents. They had a very short time to sell and Tanya delivered and she delivered great results in a very difficult market. She was able to arrange for showings with my parent’s health issues in mind and always made sure that they were on board. She reassured them when they were stressed, she offered solutions, and was very compassionate. Her patience and understanding were inspirational to me as I sometimes had difficulty dealing with the situation. Tanya on the other hand had always time and a smile and good words for my parents. She joked with my dad and offered a hug to my mom when she was truly stressed. Tanya truly went above and beyond her job as she even made calls to utility companies to help my parents.  She was the best agent I ever came across and a true angel. I can not thank her enough for not only getting the best deal for my parents but also being there for them through this process. I would definitely recommend Tanya Welsh from  Peggy Hill Group Realty to anyone that is looking to sell or buy. Thank you Tanya for your hard work, thanks for your understanding and compassion. You have an amazing way with people and your kindness and understanding of business and market truly shows. Peggy, you got one amazing agent in Tanya that’s for sure!!!!!
