Make a Turtle Nest Protector Workshop 🐢
Location: Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre, 16160 Highway 12 East, Midland, Ontario
Time: Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM
Join the Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre for a free, family-friendly workshop focused on assembling and decorating turtle nest protectors to aid in increasing hatchling survival rates. All materials will be provided, and the session will be led by Craig Pezik, the Stewardship & Conservation Manager at Wye Marsh. Space is limited, so registration is required.

Innisfil Seedy Saturday 🌱
Location: Innisfil ideaLAB & Library, Lakeshore Branch, 967 Innisfil Beach Road, Innisfil, Ontario
Time: Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Celebrate the 8th annual Innisfil Seedy Saturday, a gathering for both new and experienced gardeners, seed savers, and community members interested in mindful gardening, food security, and environmental stewardship. The event features seed vendors, garden-related community groups and businesses, the 10th anniversary season reopening of the Innisfil Seed Library, expert talks, children’s activities, and more. Hosted by the Innisfil Seed Library in partnership with the Innisfil ideaLAB & Library and the Innisfil Garden Club, admission is free. Donations to the Troy Scott Community Fridges are appreciated.

Summer in Simcoe Show ☀️
Location: Bradford Greenhouses Garden Gallery, 4346 County Rd 90, Springwater, Ontario
Time: Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
The Summer in Simcoe Show is designed to highlight all that Simcoe County has to offer for summertime, including home renovations and décor, activities and adventure, relaxation and retail therapy, travel and fitness, and much more. Attendees can explore a variety of exhibitors showcasing products and services to enhance their summer experiences. Admission is $5.00 for individuals aged 10 and above, while children aged 9 and under can attend for free. Free parking is available on-site.
