Doug Hill

Office Manager, Photographer & Sales Representative

Doug Hill is a Sales Representative and the Office Manager for Peggy Hill & Associates. Doug takes on many roles around the office. Clients know him best as our photographer extraordinaire! Doug takes beautiful photos that show off the desirable features of your home. On top of taking professional quality photos Doug also looks after all of the logistics of running a Real Estate Office.

Before joining Peggy Hill and Associates Doug worked in quality control with both Bell Canada & Honda. The skills that Doug gained in this field help him to keep Peggy Hill & Associates on track.

Outside of work Doug enjoys working on cars or doing anything mechanical. He loves to fix things, he can take almost anything apart and figure out how it works! Doug also enjoys golfing, vacationing and spending time with his wife, Peggy.

After living in Toronto Doug moved to Barrie almost 22 years ago. He likes the quiet of Barrie and the cottage country type atmosphere; it’s more laid back than living in Toronto and you're just minutes to the water.

Doug takes pride in his work and likes being an integral part of the team. He loves the variety in his work and the flexibility and he thinks is boss is pretty cool too! Doug enjoys seeing our clients move on to new stages in their lives and knowing he’s had the chance to help them get there.

Donna Russell

Sales Representative & Assistant to Peggy Hill

Donna Russell is a Sales Representative for Peggy Hill and Associates, working primarily with buyers and specializing in the residential sector. Donna’s education in both Sociology and Psychology really help her to understand the needs and wants of her buyers.

Donna held various positions in the HR field before she began working with Peggy over 3 years ago. Starting as her assistant she gained a real passion for Real Estate and quickly acquired her license.

Donna uses her great attention to detail, strong work ethic and optimistic attitude to help ease her clients through the buying process. She helps them to experience the exciting and fulfilling side of buying a home. She truly enjoys guiding buyers through one of life’s most stressful times. She is a real people person!

Outside of work Donna enjoys spending time with her family, reading, listening to music and dancing with her best friends. Donna also enjoys getting in touch with nature, the occasional warm destination and most of all she loves to laugh!

Skye Woolston

Professional Stager & Sales Representative

Skye Woolston is Peggy’s exclusive Certified and Accredited Staging & Redesign Specialist. Skye’s natural artistic flare and creativity help Peggy’s clients to show their homes in the brightest light.

Skye graduated the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Liberal Arts. She then went on to attend Georgian College for Advertising Design & Marketing. But she didn’t stop there! Skye has also obtained her Realtors license and gained accreditation as a Staging & Redesign Specialist from the Academy of Staging & Redesign.

When Skye’s not with her clients you can find her anywhere her kids are! Skye’s 3 children ages 8, 10 and 15, make her life both fabulous and frantic! When she has a quiet moment she loves to immerse herself in stacks of books about anything to do with life – business, children, spirituality, décor, relationships, cooking, gardening and more! With an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and an insistence on living a balanced life she continues to take courses on the body/mind and spirit.

John Pierson

Broker

John Pierson is a Broker for Peggy Hill & Associates Realty. He works with both buyers and sellers and is an expert in both residential and commercial Real Estate, John does it all!

John graduated from Teachers college at Western University and followed his sense of adventure to teach in Northern Ontario at Manitouwadge Public School. After working for the school board John went on to work in publishing, owned a string of Orange Julius’s and after meeting his wife Helga, moved to Barrie where he found his true calling in Real Estate. This year John celebrates his 20^thanniversary in the Real Estate business! He is a great wealth of knowledge for both consumers and Realtor’s alike. John’s natural attention to detail and extensive Real Estate experience make him an ideal addition to the Peggy Hill team.

When taking a break from Real Estate John enjoys hiking on the many trails in Simcoe County or reading a good book. He also enjoys travelling and has visited most of Canada, 21 of the 52 United States, most of Europe and the Caribbean. Apart from travelling, reading and hiking one of the most important things to John is spending time with his family and his lovely wife Helga, he makes this one of his top priorities!

Scott Cooper

Sales Representative & Certified Real Estate Negotiator

  Scott Cooper is a Sales Representative for Peggy Hill & Associates. He works with both buyers and sellers primarily in the residential sector.

Real Estate comes natural to Scott, as evidenced by his recently achieved Presidents Circle award. Education and continuous learning are a major priority. He is always taking courses to upgrade his skills as a REALTOR®. He is a Certified Real Estate Negotiator, a member of the Leading Edge Society; has taken courses in commercial and residential Real Estate, Appraisal, contract law and Real Estate photography, as well as numerous sales and customer service training sessions.

When not working with clients or upgrading his skills Scott is an active member of Barrie’s Kempenfelt Rotary club. He enjoys travelling, interior design, fashion and technology. His hobbies include photography, health and fitness, eating good food and drinking great wine. Scott also supports various local charities by volunteering and making donations. He supports organizations such as Big Brothers and Big sisters, The Women and Youths shelter, Royal Victoria Hospital and Hospice Simcoe among others.

 Karen Hvalica

Sales Representative

Karen Hvalica is a Sales Representative with Peggy Hill & Associates Realty, focusing mainly on residential Real Estate and working with both buyers and sellers.

Karen graduated Georgian College with an Honours Diploma from the Opticianry program. Karen practiced as a licensed Optician for 10 years before discovering her passion for Real Estate in 2001. Karen has been a Real Estate Professional in the Barrie area for almost 10 years now. She has experience in most areas of Simcoe county and is an expert in the local Real Estate market.

When not helping her clients accomplish their Real Estate dreams Karen can be found raising her family. Together with her husband Dave of 12 years, she is raising her beautiful 2^{½ year}old daughter, Kate and their boxer Jilly! Outside of work Karen is a supporter of the Big Brother’s/Big Sister’s of Barrie and has served on the executive committee for their annual Tour of Homes. Along with her family Karen enjoys many of the activities that Simcoe County has to offer.

Originally from the Peterborough area, Karen moved to the Barrie area in 1996 and has never looked back! Irene Rumley

Sales Representative

Irene is a Sales representative for Peggy Hill & Associates Realty, focusing on both buyers and sellers and specializing in residential real estate.

Irene’s talents and interests have caused her to gain quite a diverse educational background! Irene has 2 college diplomas, one in executive office administration and another in legal office administration. She also completed 2 years of university in nursing and math and computer sciences. But she has an artistic side as well; Irene gained her qualifications as a piano instructor from the Royal Conservatory of Music! After spending many years as a stay-at-home mom her interest in the housing market drove her to obtain her real estate license in 2004.

When not trading Real Estate Irene enjoys indulging in her many interests. You can find her playing the piano or a game of volleyball or making stained glass. Family is also something that Irene always makes time for. Her son Thomas, daughter Madeline and two dogs, Oscar and Brandy are always a priority!

Kari Murray

Kari Murray is a Sales Representative for Peggy Hill & Associates working with both buyers and sellers. Kari’s belief that real estate is about customer service, honesty and trust fit precisely with those of our brokerage.

Kari spent most of her youth gaining real world experience by living and working in London, England and on the Gold Coast in Australia and travelling as much as she could. Kari has diplomas in Aromatherapy and Reflexology and has completed various courses in Hospitality Management and Leadership. After returning home from her travels Kari found a rewarding career in real estate and has been helping people find their ideal homes ever since.

Kari is a very active person and when she’s not with her clients you can find her engaging in a number of different activities! She enjoys travelling, taking in new cultures and spending time with her family, spouse Chris and stepson Garrett. Kari spends a great deal of time playing sports, biking, kayaking, sailing and hiking places like the Himalayas, the Andes and Machu Pichu! Ashleigh Beleskey

Ashleigh is a Sales Representative with Peggy Hill & Associates Realty, working mainly with buyers and specializing in residential real estate. Ashleigh’s compassionate nature and easy going personality help her buyers feel at ease when facing their next real estate transaction.

Ashleigh graduated from two separate colleges, earning a Developmental Services Worker Diploma from Algonquin College and a Personal Support Worker Diploma from St. Lawrence College; and is currently studying American Sign Language. After studiously obtaining her diplomas Ashleigh discovered her passion for real estate and has spent almost three years helping buyers make their next move!

When Ashleigh’s not with her clients you can find her spending time with her husband and 2 children, Rowan & Graydon, or indulging in any number of her favorite hobbies. With a knack for working in ‘eye-pleasing’ mediums Ashleigh enjoys gardening, decorating and photography. The stars of Ashleigh’s photos often being her adorable children.

Janet Le Camp

Sales Representative

Janet is a Sales Representative working with both buyers and sellers and specializing in residential real estate in Thornton and the surrounding area. Janet’s determination, work ethic and ingenuity help her clients to find what they’re looking for in their next real estate transaction.

Janet has colorful work and academic history all of which has helped shape her into a great REALTOR®. For a number of years Janet worked in public policy for the Yukon Government and was involved with the development of the Yukon’s Housing Priority Policy and other housing policy initiatives. Janet has earned no less than 4 diplomas, degrees and certificates including a Master’s of Science Degree in Community Health Science. Janet’s path eventually lead her to discover a passion for real estate, which she has been following ever since!

When not working with clients you can find Janet spending time with and taking care of her top priorities, her daughter, two dogs and one cat. Janet and her dog spend a lot of time training in search and rescue skills which they hope one day to be certified for. Janet loves hiking and exploring as well as boating and snowmobiling on Georgian Bay and also has an appetite for reading and non-fiction writing.

Before moving to the Yukon Janet grew up close to Barrie in Penetanguishene. She moved back to Thornton in 2009 and continues to live there today. Janet enjoys life in Thornton because it is, “a small village with a rural essence”. She likes being close to trails and Thornton’s proximity to Barrie and all of its amenities.

 Michael Gleason

Sales Representative B.Sc.Phm

Michael is the latest Sales Representative to join the Peggy Hill & Associates family. He works with both buyers and sellers in commercial and residential real estate.

Michael comes to us with extensive experience in the Barrie business community. He graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and owned and operated a local pharmacy for over 25 years before selling it to spend more time with his family. Michael just couldn’t stay away from Barrie’s business community though and began serving on the Board for Gilda’s Club in Barrie before obtaining his real estate license. Michael continues to donate his time to Gilda’s Club and looks forward to using his business knowledge to make new relationships as a REALTOR® in Barrie. 

There are two places you can find Michael when he’s not working with his clients. Spending time with his wife Angela and his children Nickolas, Shauna, Elizabeth, Mitchell and Tom and Jessica or working on his golf game on one of the many area golf courses.  

Michael’s roots in Barrie extend back quite a ways; his family has been in the Barrie area since the 1920’s! To Michael Barrie is at the centre of everything there is to do in Ontario. Drew Hale

Marketing Director

Drew Hale is the Marketing Director for Peggy Hill & Associates.  Drew over sees marketing and advertising initiatives for the brokerage and manages Peggy’s Customer Appreciation Program. Nothing matters more to Peggy than the satisfaction of her clients and Drew takes that very seriously.

Drew graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Marketing Management from the University of Guelph. She brings over 2 years of Marketing experience in both the automotive and fashion and retail industry.

When not working with Peggy Hill & Associates Drew enjoys getting lost inside a good book, expressing her creativity through writing, fashion and art and watching a variety of movies. One of her favorite things to do is spend time with her family and friends and she always makes it a priority to enjoy life!

Drew has lived in Simcoe County for most of her life. She loves the variety that Barrie has to offer, “Everyday I see beautiful landscapes, from open fields to the lakefront and the abundant forests. I love the open space and get to see the stars every night” Having grown up in the country it’s the perfect combination of rural and urban!  

Drew considers herself very fortunate to have found her dream career right here in Barrie working with Peggy! Caroline Reid

Client Care Coordinator

Caroline is the Client Care Coordinator for Peggy Hill & Associates Realty. If you work with us you’ll get to know Caroline very well, as she’s the first point of contact both in person and over the phone! Caroline takes on the responsibility of managing the listings, creating feature sheets and virtual tours as well as managing appointments and much more!

Caroline graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University with a Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying. Before joining the Peggy Hill & Associates family Caroline honed her skills in many different positions including public relations, construction, advertising and working as an energy advisor. Caroline’s friendly demeanor and love of working with people makes her an ideal asset to our team.

When not helping our clients with the ins and outs of buying or selling Caroline enjoys a variety of activities. Her love of real estate keeps her busy with home renovations, which she actually enjoys! She also loves the cinema, travelling whenever she can and being with her family.

Originating from Glasgow Scotland Caroline fell in love with Barrie when she and her family moved to Canada in 2005. Caroline has lived in Barrie for 6 years now and she “Loves the fact that it’s a city with a small town attitude”. She also loves how her home is close to everything she may need and the proximity to an incredible variety of outdoor activities!

Melissa Russell

Adminisrative Assistant

Melissa is the Administrative Assistant for Peggy Hill & Associates. That means she does a little bit of everything to make sure our clients and their needs are looked after! Melissa is right at home in our fast paced and diverse work environment. She loves working with people and helping them! Melissa’s compassionate nature, willingness to learn and excellent work ethic make her a valuable member of the Peggy Hill & Associates Family.

Melissa has just completed grade 12 at Bear Creek Secondary School in Barrie. With a level of maturity far beyond her years Melissa ensures that our client’s interests are on the forefront of everything that we do. Following the generations before her, Melissa plans to pursue a career in law or maybe even become an entrepreneur! She will be attending the University of Waterloo this coming fall to study General Arts and Business.

Outside of work and school Melissa has many interests. She loves animals and nature as well as exploring the outdoors; especially in the summer when she enjoys activities such as hiking and swimming. Melissa also has an enthusiastic interest in the arts always making time to read, write and listen to music.

Melissa has lived in Barrie for 6 years now, after moving here with her family from Brampton. She likes the friendly people in Barrie and loves the clean air. Melissa finds Barrie to be the perfect mixture of city and country, both of which she enjoys.

We will be sad to see her go in the fall but are excited to see her move on to succeed in University. Best of luck Melissa!
