March Break gives kids and parents alike a chance to explore the activities and events in their local community. If you’re looking for ways to entertain your kids this March break there's plenty going on in Barrie and the surrounding area. From free events to March break camps there’s something for every budget and every interest!

March Break Camps

MacLaren Art Centre

The MacLaren Art Centre is offering morning and afternoon half-day March Break Camp programs; Kinder Artist Camp (3-5 yrs), Create your own Comics (9-14 yrs) or March Break Camp (6-10 yrs). SimcoeCounty Museum

Go around the world in 5 days with the Simcoe County Museums March break camp. The camp is run for children ages 6-12 and is open from 10 AM to 4 PM with babysitting available. Talk is Free Theatre

The Talk is Free Theatre camp runs Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM with pre and post care available. It combines theatre exercises and games in a packed day of activities; the camp teaches improvisation, character building, scene study, make up, costumes and set design and every session ends with a final production for family and friends. CentralBaseball AcademyMarch Break Baseball Camp

The camp runs daily from 9 AM to 3 PM. Qualified instructors will teach participants the fundamentals of Baseball including: hitting, fielding, throwing catching, base running and more!. Visit www.centralbaseballacademy.ca for information on prices and signing up.

Alpha Camp and Retreat

For children with ADHD, learning disabilities, behavioral needs and ASD. The camp focuses on life and social skills for youth and young adults. Join them for a week of fun and excitement! Bulldog Interactive Fitness

Bulldog interactive fitness, located on King Street, is an interactive fitness facility designed especially for youth ages 3 to teen. Self-esteem and well being is the main focus here. The March break camp runs Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM with additional time available. Both daily and weekly registrations are accepted. Centre Court @ the Kozlov Centre

The Kozlov Centre has a fantastic line up of free shows and activities scheduled for March Break. Face painting and an interactive show with “Daisy” the Clown, a Wye Marsh Birds of Prey show, Theatre by the Bay, the Miller School of Irish Dance and Naked Mole Rat Productions array of live animals and reptiles! Naked Mole Rat Productions

Naked Mole Rate Productions will be at Centre Court in the Kozlov Centre on Friday March 18th from 11 AM to 4 PM.
